Hilda Cryer King passed away Monday, Oct. 27, 2009, at the age of 85. Hilda was a lifelong resident of Lacombe.

She was the beloved wife of the late Guady Andrew King; mother of Lucille Collins, Elcy Revere, Phillip King, Roseline Cousin and the late Donald King; stepmother of Alcide Thomas, Dinah Laurent, Nancy Cousin and Theresa Benoit; and sister of Helen Laurent. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian burial at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 28088 Main St., Lacombe, tomorrow at 11 a.m. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until service time. Sheriff and Slidell police on the hunt for armed robber

The armed robber, who is suspected of two armed robberies last week on Brownswitch Road and Robert Boulevard in Slidell, is also suspected for the robbery of the Blockbuster Video store at the corner of Gause Boulevard and Military Road Wednesday afternoon.
